The Tool Warehouse FTP site is anonymous access to download hundreds of additional open source utilities and libraries ported to Interix (SFU & SUA aka Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications).

We have prepared a step-by-step video geared to anyone installing and using Interix (SFU or SUA) for the first time.  This screencast covers activating the Subsystem, installing the Utilities & SDK and the Interop Tools Bundles listed below. It walks you through each step and choice and provides an actual installation for visual reference.

Once you have Interix (SFU op SUA) installed, this second screencast provides a familiarization to the many features.  After covering a brief history, an overview of the system architecture is presented. The video then comments on security aspects, the shells and filesystems. Actual examples of common configuration actions and program use for administrators are shown. Intended to broaden the knowledge of users, developers and administrators.
