About sc command not working correctly

hello Friend,
I am newbie to interix.
I also don't know Is i am posting to correct forume or not?
if i am wronge please forgive me.
I am running one daemon in background & i have written shell
script which will check the status of process continously
using sc command & if daemon not running it will start the
daemon again.
is this problem with interix sc command/something other ?
Please help about to figure out this problem.
