ftp 3.5f
Announcing ftp version 3.5f.

This version adds two new options (no bug fixes) that are related.
The update manual page has more details.
The new options are '-f' and '-F'.
The '-F ftpproxy' option allow for specifying a ftp proxy on the coammand line
instead of having to set the environment variable "ftp_proxy".
The '-f' option will find, if available, a proxy to use from the registry.
This is the same proxy that is listed with IE.

To update do:
    pkg_update -L ftp

The next release of the installer (pkg_update/pkg_add) will make use of
these new options. This won't happen for several days though (due to other active
commitments). But this will help people behind firewalls more "automagically" when
it is done.

Note: You can still use pkg_add but we are trying to wean users over to using pkg_update for
the multiple platform support in the upcoming future. Thanks.

RE: ftp 3.5f
The current version is now 3.5g.
Version 3.5g fixes a bug for specifying an ftp port to connect to by number.
(Connect to by name was working).

To update do:
    pkg_update -L ftp
